During the last three months of 2018, it seemed there was a heaviness, an oppression that was everywhere. When I prayed, it seemed like my prayers were bouncing off a ceiling. In the news I saw an invasion of the enemies of God advancing around the world. It seems like the whole world has gone insane, running eagerly toward their own destruction. The danger of globalism, socialism and Islam are so obvious that no one in their right minds would willingly support it, but they do.
On the first day of this new year, 2019, I sensed a lifting, as if the Heavens are open and the heavy oppression I sensed in the spirit was lifted. Praying is easier. Entering into the presence of God takes less effort than it did. What changed?
As I was asking God and meditating on why, the date everything seemed to change occurred to me. 1/1/19. I know that sometimes God will speak to us concerning dates and times, so I looked it up. Genesis Chapter 1, verse 19. “And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.” At first I did not see a connection, but then I thought if this is signifying the end of the fourth day, what happened on that day?
Vs 14: “Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night,” ….. vs 18: “ and to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness.”
The Bible tells us that light and darkness have no fellowship with each other. How can a blind man know if it is dark or light outside? When you are in the light, you can tell when darkness is coming. If you walk in darkness you cannot recognize the light. God in this day is causing a separation between the forces of Satan and the forces of righteousness. It is rapidly coming forth with the world as its stage.
The works of darkness and evil are becoming more radical and apparent every day. It is forcing every person to choose sides. The rights of individuals are being cast aside in this headlong rush to globalism.
On one side we have the satanic ideologies of Islam, globalism, and socialism fighting to bring the whole world under their control. On the other side is the Church of Jesus Christ, the light in the darkness. This is a time when we cannot be lukewarm Christians. God has given us a window of time to press into the spirit. Changes are rapidly happening. The Church must step up to the challenge and answer.
2 Chron 7:14, “If My people, who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray, if they will seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven. I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land.”
Now is not the time to be fair weather Christians. It is time to get serious with God and take hold of the hem of His garment until we see healing come to our land.
