(John 1:1-4) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”
(Gen 1:3) “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
(Gen 1:6-7) “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made (Heb: asah:accomplished) the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.”
(Gen 1:9) “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.”
(Gen 1:14-15) “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.”
Up until this time we see God making everything by saying, “let it be” and then “it was so.” Everything made this way was inanimate, non-living things. However, when God began to make living things the terminology changes;
(Gen 1: 20-22) “And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created (Heb: bara:chose) great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.”
(Gen 1:24-25) “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
Now that God has moved on to living beings, the Bible says, “Let the waters bring forth,” and they did. From the waters came the creatures that live in the waters and the fowls that fly through the air. Next He made the land creatures, by saying, “Let the earth bring forth,” and it was accomplished. Then He said that what He had created was good.
(Gen 1:26-27) “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created (Heb: bara:chose) he him; male and female created he them.”
God made everything by one thing; the power of His spoken Word. Since everything in the universe was made by God’s spoken Word, you would expect to see striking similarities and patterns throughout all of creation, and that is exactly what you find.
I find in my studies, one of the most convincing evidences, which completely eliminates any possibility whatsoever that all of this could have come to pass without the guiding hand of a being of infinite intelligence. It completely baffles me that anyone could look at this evidence and see anything other than the fact that all things were made by God, the creator and originator of all that is. That evidence has just come to light in recent times. I am speaking about DNA and its counterpart, RNA. DNA is a marvelous creation. Every living thing has DNA. In fact, no living organism, no matter how simple or complicated, can exist without DNA. All plants, animals, bacteria, viruses.. every living thing is completely dependent on DNA not only for its existence, but also for it continuation.
DNA is the greatest marvel of the physical universe. It is just like an extremely complex biological computer code. It is more highly advanced than any code men have ever even imagined. This code not only tells the biological device (your body) how to function, but it was also the blueprint and operating system for the biological processes that made your body in the first place. It also has directions for each cell in your body on how to reproduce. It creates T-cells that are designed to attack specific harmful pathogens; programs stem cells to become whatever type of cell is needed to perform a necessary repair to your tissues; in short, it instructs all of your vital biological systems that are necessary for the healthy functioning of your body. All of the computers in all of the world, working in unison could not compare to even half of what our DNA does every second of every day of your life.
DNA is not just an extremely complex code, but actually a language. This language has the capability to communicate with every living cell of a living organism, giving complete instructions about how to assemble, how to function and how to replicate. In fact, everything that pertains to life is coded in the strands of DNA that are found in living cells.

As scientists unlock the secrets of DNA, they are finding some spectacular things. Inside the nucleus of living cells is a single strand of DNA. In every strand of there exists a compilation of information that tells the cell what to become. The DNA is the same in each cell, but it tells one cell to become part of an eye, another it tells to become a nerve cell, while yet another might become hair, or nails, or heart tissue.
As researchers began unlocking the code to our human DNA, they discovered a very interesting detail. All DNA, whether it be fish DNA, bird DNA, snake DNA, plant DNA, all DNA is written in THE SAME CODE! This annihilates any concept of evolution completely. Think about this: If evolution were true, that would mean that millions of years ago all the different species of living beings on Earth separated and evolved in different directions. In order for that to happen, the DNA would have had to change and over the millions of years, errors would have crept into the code. DNA is an amazing thing, you see, for it has the ability to correct most errors that creep into its code. Think about it this way: The first pc computers were operated by a programming language called DOS. Some were programmed to be word processors, others to operate machines, and others to solve mathematical problems, but all of them were operating by the same code. That code had a creator name Bill Gates.
The DNA in a snake and a bird and a monkey and a person are all written in the same code. That code is just formed into different instruction sets in different living things. That code was programmed by the spoken Word of our living God. When He said, “Let there be fish, the fish DNA was programmed to make fish.” When HE said, “Let there be elephants” the elephant DNA was programmed to create elephants.
Scientists have just discovered there is even a second language written in the DNA. The first language contains instructions for creating the proteins and the second one seems to affect the functions of the genes.
Now, here is where it starts to get really interesting to me. As I study the Word of God, knowing the things I know about DNA, I am seeing something I never even dreamed of. The concept I am going to introduce is so foreign to the way most of us think, I need to lay down some scriptural background first.
(Heb 1:2-3) Says that God has “in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,”
(Heb 11:3) “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”
(Ps 139:16) “Thine eyes did see my substance (Heb: galemi: embryo), yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
(2 Cor 3:3) “..ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.” (Heart is often used like this, to mean the innermost or most essential part of something.)
When God saw my incomplete embryo, even though my members, (my arms, my legs, my eyes) did not yet exist, those same members were already written in His book.
The Bible is God’s Word as it was spoken to prophets of old who wrote it down. Just like the original 10 commandments were written by God himself, DNA was created by the spoken word of God and written in the very essence of our physical being. Our DNA is the pattern of the image of God Himself. Our DNA is just as much the word of God as the Bible is, we just do not know how to read it. This explains some very important things.
Proof on concept:
Watching sexually-oriented media will change hormones and other biological chemicals in your body and your brain that makes physical changes and even increases the desire for more.
Watching violent movies or playing violent video games will also make chemical and hormonal changes to your body that will cause you to develop tendencies toward violent behavior.
Meditating on and listening to God’s Word will cause different hormones and biological chemicals to be produced, making you more calm and peaceful. It also will, over time, reduce the desires for violence and other lustful behavior.
